SALES IN 4 WEEKS OF £1.14 MILLION = EQUIVALENT TO ALMOST THREE MONTHS’ TURNOVER.

In order to pave the way for the demolition and extension to our department store in Horley Surrey, we decided to hold a stock clearance event. As the success of this promotion would be critical to carry us through the leaner trading times ahead, during the months of disruption of rebuilding, we thought it best we hire some expert help in the form of Gareth Price and the Daniel Lynch Sales Company.

It is with great relief I sit here at my desk a day after the completion of the sale that I can say it was a total success on all counts. Like many others who have been through a similar event, we did not necessarily believe achieving some of the figures was possible; after all what do complete outsiders know about our business anyway! I am delighted, however, that the Daniel Lynch organisation does have a great understanding of our industry, and we were wrong to have any doubts. Their forecasts and ratios for sales figures through the event were extremely accurate.

Their task was made all the more difficult as we were without the use of a warehouse for the whole of the event, which meant the vast majority of stock had to come straight out on the shop floor.

Throughout the entire build up and duration, Gareth Price, our conductor, guided us. He never lost his cool and really got stuck in wherever he was required. He was extremely motivational and worked throughout the entire preparation and duration of the sale.

These are just some of the prime reasons we used the Daniel Lynch Sales Company, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in retail in the future.
